We're 100% Digital
For all
photo missions, your photographs will be taken using professional Nikon
digital camera gear. I am currently using the impressive
36.3Mp Nikon D800 and my workhorse 12.4Mp Nikon D2X. Used
with high-quality high-speed Nikon lenses, some featuring internal vibration
reduction, this combination produces crystal-clear images full of detail that can be
enlarged to 20 x 30 and beyond. If you would like hi-res JPEG or
TIFF image files rather than prints, you can download them from my
FTP site the same day or I can mail them on a CD. All post
processing of digital image files is done with Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Aircraft
I use a variety of fixed-wing aircraft
for our photo flights. This includes primarily high-wing Aeronca, Cessna
150, 172 and 172XP aircraft. I also have access to a Cessna 172
equipped with a belly camera port which I use for vertical
photography. I am not dependent on one aircraft, one pilot or
even one airport. I maintain a network of aircraft and pilots based at
several airports in NE Ohio, which assures I will have access to the
appropriate aircraft when and where you need me.
In addition to my network
of aircraft and pilots, I have also established a good working
relationship with the staff at the Cleveland Approach Control
facility. Many
photo sites are located under airspace surrounding Cleveland Hopkins
International airport. Without prior communication and
coordination with the air traffic control staff, it would not be
possible to take photos in some of these areas.
